Nino Franco

Founded in 1919 by Antonio Franco, Nino Franco is one of the oldest winery in Valdobbiadene region, famous for its Prosecco. In 1982 Primo Franco, the third generation of producers, took the company's reins and decided to change the philosophy that was more commercial, to produce typical wine of the region. In a few years, all wines that were not characteristic of Valdobbiadene were eliminated and replaced by delicious Prosecco with fine bubbles that we know today. Nino Franco was thus one of the first to export prosecco joining the Champagne bubbles in the market. Primo Franco, is the man who reinvented the art of making wine and Prosecco which has restored its pedigree.
